News from Jon Easter, Station Manager at Hot AC/WBDG (90.9fm, Indianapolis):

"WBDG just celebrated its 39th birthday on Valentine's Day. The station went on the air with a regular broadcast schedule on Feb. 14, 1966. Currently, plans are in the works for a 40th anniversary banquet or celebration of some sort, so if anyone knows of WBDG alums out there that might be interested in participating, have them contact Jon Easter at (317) 227-4122 or jon.easter at wayne.k12.in.us.

Incidentally, we'll be celebrating our 39 years on the air in April with a 39-hour marathon."

Southwest

CHR/WSTO (96.1fm, Owensboro, Kentucky) now uses Melanie Taylor of Artistry Voiceovers for voiceover work.

Where Are They Now? Former WUEV (91.5fm, Evansville) GM Len Clark recently left Alaska. There, he was GM of public radio stations KBBI-AM (Homer) and KDLL-FM (Kenai). He's returned to the contiguous 48, this time as Director of Broadcasting and Communications for the minor league baseball Lincoln (Nebraska) Saltdogs.
