For the last 34 years, Randy Brist has been the director/faculty advisor for Lafayette Schools’ Oldies/WJEF (91.9fm, Lafayette), based at Lafayette Jefferson High School in the William S. Frasier Radio-TV Center. When WJEF hired Mr. Brist in the mid-1980s, the radio station was barely a decade old. Mr. Brist succeeded Bill Fraser (for whom the Radio-TV Center is now named.) Mr. Brist will retire from "Jeff 92" at the end of the school year. Jamie Long (a videographer at local TV station WLFI-TV) will succeed Mr. Brist. The radio station held an open house for Mr. Brist over the weekend.

Martin Hensley’s New Beginnings Movement sells two translators for $60,000 to Kathy Versemann and Sandy Biddinger's Two Black Cadillacs, Inc. The two translators are W278BB (103.5fm, Greensburg) and W282AZ (104.3fm, Greensburg). The 104.3fm translator already simulcasts WTRE, Inc.'s Country/WTRE (1330am, Greensburg).

That's all for this issue. Thank you for your continued support.
