The Shine.FM religious network is based on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. The network includes two Indiana radio stations: WHZN (88.3fm, New Whiteland) covers the Indianapolis metro, while WTMK (88.5fm, Wanatah) covers northwest Indiana. Shine.FM has a new network PD: Don Burns. Mr. Burns last worked as GM at The House FM (Ponca City, Oklahoma) and The Praise FM in Kansas. Mr. Burns also takes afternoons alongside evening personality Daneli Rabanalez Hernandez. Ms. Hernandez did evenings for the past two years, and also serves as MD of their Spanish Brila FM. Megan Groen steps into evenings. Ms. Groen is a sophomore at ONU.

Northcentral

Sound Management, LLC sells their trio of radio stations for $3.4 million to Artistic Media Partners. Their portfolio includes CHR/WNDV (92.9fm, South Bend), Rock/WYXX (97.7fm, Goshen) and 1980s/WYET (102.3fm, New Carlisle). In October 2014, Sound Management paid Artistic Media Partners $3.5 million for the trio.

Central

Radio One begins testing out their WNOW-HD3 (100.9fm-HD3, Speedway), also heard on translator W285FC (105.1fm, Indianapolis). An IRW reader shared several small audio clips, which featured heavy metal or alternative music.

Sabbath Incorporated signs on their low power WSHT-FM (100.1fm, Indianapolis) with a Beautiful Music/Easy Listening format. WSHT has a a 100 watt signal, with their antenna on a tower on the air from a transmitter site on West 42nd Street, southeast of the Cumulus' Classic Hits/WJJK (104.5fm, Noblesville) tower.

After just over two years as a sports reporter, Michael Grady will exit Scripps' ABC affiliate/WRTV (Channel 6, Indianapolis) along with his public address announcer role for the NBA's Indiana Pacers. Mr. Grady will become a Brooklyn Nets sideline reporter for YES, a regional cable network in the New York City area. Mr. Grady will continue co-hosting the "Grady and Big Joe Show" with Joe Staysniak on Emmis Communications' Sports/WFNI (1070am, Indianapolis), also heard on translator W298BB (107.5fm, Indianapolis).
