Station History

WBAT signed on June 7, 1947 at 1600am, daytime only (500 watts). Owned by Marion Radio Corp., with studios at 303 1/2 S. Adams St., Marion, IN. In the Spring of 1951, WBAT shifted from 1600am to 1400am and went 24 hours. Mid-America Radio Group, Inc. sold WBAT to Vox Communications. Studios formerly located at 120 N. Miller Avenue, Marion, IN 46952-3232.
