Station History

107.9fm signed on October 15, 1984.

WISH-FM

WIFE-FM

After WIFE-FM signed off, the frequency was dark for many years.

WTPI-FM

Studios located at 9245 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46202-1835. MyStar Communications Corp. sold all its stations, including WTPI, in April 2004 to Entercom Communications Corp. for $73.5 million. WTPI's website address was http://www.wtpi.com. They were affiliated with AMFM Networks, as they ran the "Dave Koz Show." During the 2004 Christmas holiday, WTPI went to an all-Christmas format. WTPI flipped formats to Adult Hits and call letters to WNTR.

WNTR-FM

WNTR's call letters stand for "iNdy's TRack." The moniker was "The Track." On December 28, 2009 at 12:28PM, "The Track" changed monikers to "My 107.9!" On May 24, 2013, "My 107.9!" vanishes and WNTR becomes a Hot AC station, branded "The Mix."
