Station History

103.5fm signed on May 31, 1991. In July 2006, William Andrew Dixon sold WAWC for $430,000 to Talking Stick Communications, LLC. Under Dixon, the studios were located at 10129 N. 800 E., Syracuse, IN 46567-9574. WAWC changed formats from AC to Country at 6:00am on Friday November 24, 2006. The first song of the new format was Alan Jackson's "Gone Country," and the station is now "Willie 103.5".
