From the Tuesday evening video pile: Oasis Radio Group's Rhythmic/WHPP (106.3fm, Columbia City) "Rewind 106.3 Studio Tour."

In our next issue, we'll continue our translator and LPFM survey, along with updating you on where to find a former Evansville morning man on the radio dial.

Northwest

In November 2013, Connection Point Church (formerly Bethel Christian Life Center) sold the CP to 88.9fm (licensed to Battle Ground) to Christian Radio Friends, Inc. for $5000. Now, the CP has an application to move transmitter sites, which means a power adjustment. Here are the details: The CP specified 21,000 watts at 67 feet from a transmitter site just south of IN-38, along I-65. Then, an application went in back in December to move transmitter sites, to the same site as Artistic Media Partners' Adult Hits/WBPE (95.3fm, Brookston), north of Battle Ground, just east of IN-43. From that site, the CP would lower power to 3500 watts but raise the antenna to 486 feet. A new application lowers the antenna and raises the power to compensate, from the same WBPE transmitter site, and the lower power means they can go non directional, instead of directional. From this site, they should adequately cover Lafayette and West Lafayette.
