Club 1915's Religious/WRRO (89.9fm, Edon, Ohio) switches programming from Indiana-based Redeemer Radio to Toledo, Ohio-based Annunciation Radio. Redeemer Radio remains on Fort Wayne Catholic Radio Group's Religious/WRDF (106.3fm, Columbia City) and St. Joseph Catholic Radio Group's Religious/WRDI (95.7fm, Nappanee). Dr. TK Barger at The Toledo Blade explains that Annunciation Radio used a private donation to purchase the noncommercial equivalent of an LMA ("lease operating agreement.")
Media General's CBS affiliate WANE-TV (Channel 15, Fort Wayne) weekend news anchor Gina Glaros will soon exit for an on-air TV role in Louisville, Kentucky. Succeeding Ms. Glaros will be Fort Wayne native Sara Schaefer. Ms. Schaefer will begin on May 2. Ms. Schaefer returns to Fort Wayne from sister CBS affiliate WTHI-TV (Channel 10, Terre Haute). Ms. Schaefer joined WTHI in June 2014 as a reporter/producer. In March 2015, WTHI promoted her to evening reporter and fill-in anchor.

Federated Media VP Tony Richards becomes part of the NAB Radio Board, along with five other new selectees. Also, Mid-West Family Broadcasting president Tom Walker returns to the Board. All Radio Board member two-year terms begin this June.
Eastcentral
Rodgers Broadcasting's Hot AC/WFMG (101.3fm, Richmond) welcomes Sam Hanson to middays. Ms. Hanson last worked for KPNT in St. Louis, Missouri. Ms. Hanson will also voicetrack afternoons on sister AC/WZZY (98.3fm, Winchester). Ms. Hanson replaces Scott Epic, who moves to nights on "G1013."
Southeast
After just a month on the job, Wagon Wheel Broadcasting's Country/WSCH (99.3fm, Aurora) promotes Robb Reel to PD. Mr. Reel continues handling Production and afternoons at "Eagle Country 99.3."
Al Payne becomes PD for the three Alpha Media urban targeted radio stations in Louisville, Kentucky. The trio includes Urban/WGZB (96.5fm, Lanesville). Mr. Payne moves to Louisville from Baltimore, Maryland, where he was OM for the Radio One/Baltimore radio stations.

Description: Responsible for scheduling prerecorded and live programming on all WBAA content channels including AM/FM/HD2 platforms. Maintain program schedules and logs for all stations. 89.1 WBOI (NPR News and Diverse Music), and Classical 94.1 WBNI seek a Chief Engineer for the two public radio stations serving Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all technical and building operations and maintenance. Position reports directly to General Manager, and works closely with the Program Director and other staff. You must have the technical knowledge to operate and maintain two radio stations and all associated operations, be able to climb ladders, work in small spaces and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. AASEET Degree or similar
5 or more years of radio broadcast engineering experience
Knowledge of FM broadcast and STL transmission systems including combiners
Ability to troubleshoot and repair FM and HD transmitters and associated equipment
Minimum 3 years of experience with Broadcast Electronics AudioVault Delivery Systems for both time-based and control-based satellite automation
New construction involving studio and transmitter sites
Familiarity with FCC rules and regulations
Network administration and IT support for Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 7 & 8 operating systems
PBX management
Drafting budgets for expenses, capital expenditures, and projects
Valid driver's license and means of transportation
