Northeast

Federated Media's Hot AC/WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne) becomes an HD signal. Their HD2 subchannel becomes a simulcast of sister N-T/WOWO (1190am, Fort Wayne). WOWO also remains on translator W298BJ (107.5fm, Fort Wayne).

Here's a follow up to our story last Monday about Gina Glaros, weekend news anchor at Media General's CBS affiliate WANE-TV (Channel 15, Fort Wayne): Ms. Glaros will be joining WDRB-TV, the FOX affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. And, yes, her WANE-TV colleagues gave her a "reel" sendoff.

Where Are They Now? Former WBTU morning host "Clara Barton" (Jennifer Dempsey) joins vCreative as their West Coast Affiliate Relations manager for vPromotions.

Northwest

Pensacola Christian College translator W216BB (91.1fm, Williamsport) applied to move its translator to Lafayette and decrease power from 19 watts to 1 watt. The FCC denied the application, as Pensacola proposed a major change, and PCC didn't fully explain why they should be granted a waiver.

Central

Bill Shirk's Hoosier Broadcasting Corp. sells its CP for translator W236CM (95.1fm, Speedway) to Larry Stone's Tennessee-based Stonecom. The $35,000 purchase will give Mr. Stone the opportunity to move the translator to Cookeville, east of Nashville, Tennessee. Broker this deal: Roehling Broadcast Services.

Southcentral

Educational Media Foundation's Contemporary Christian/W271BG (102.1fm, Columbus) increases power from 38 to 55 watts, and moves tower sites south, closer to Columbus. Previously, W271BG had an antenna near I-65 and US-31 in Taylorsville. The antenna moved to near US-31 and the Columbus Municipal Airport. The "K-Love" translator remains a simulcast of WJLR (91.5fm, Seymour).

Southwest

Indiana Community Radio Corp. sells a pair of translator CPs for $30,000, each to Robert Wilkins. The two CPs are W266CR (101.1fm, Henderson, Kentucky) and W263CV (100.5fm, Evansville). Both CPs will relocate south of Indiana: The Henderson, Kentucky translator should land in Huntsville, Alabama, while the Evansville translator should land in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Broker on both deals: Roehling Broadcast Services.

With The Marilu Henner Show ending in March, Townsquare Media's N-T/WOMI (1490am, Owensboro, Kentucky) welcomes The Jonathaon Brandmeier Show to the weekday 5pm until 8pm (Central Time) slot.
