Heartland Media's FOX Affiliate/WFFT-TV (Channel 55, Fort Wayne) hires a new weekend meteorologist/reporter: Caleb Saylor. Mr. Saylor recently earned his Master's Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Ball State University. Mr. Saylor succeeds Cody Bailey, who recently left for Bowling Green, Kentucky and the morning meteorologist role at WNKY-TV.
Tonight, Adams Radio Group's AC/WWFW (103.9fm, Fort Wayne) added the syndicated John Tesh Radio Show in nights.

Joshua Raiford ("J1") exits as PD for Radio One Rhythmic CHR/WHHH (96.3fm, Indianapolis) and CHR/WNOW-FM-HD2 (100.9fm, Speedway) also heard on translator W275BD (102.9fm, Greenfield). Mr. Raiford joins as PD for sister WKYS in Washington, DC. It was only last November when he arrived in Indianapolis to program both "Hot 96.3" and "Boom 102.9."
Beginning September 11, Nexstar Broadcasting's CW affiliate/WISH-TV (Channel 8, Indianapolis) will add an extra hour of local morning news to "News 8 Daybreak." Their weekday morning schedule will be:
4am until 10am: News 8 Daybreak
10am until 11am: Indy Style
11am until Noon: News 8 Midday
This Saturday, Heartland Media's CBS affiliate/WTHI-TV (Channel 10, Terre Haute) will debut Terre Haute's first weekend morning newscast. Airing from 8am until 9am on both Saturday and Sunday, the newscast will be hosted by anchor Lacey Clifton and weather anchor Chris Piper. Mr. Piper recently joined WTHI-TV after graduating from Eastern Illinois University and working for their "News Watch" at PBS affiliate WEIU-TV in Charleston, Illinois.

June 18: In 1965, WAWK(AM) in Kendallville moves from 1570am to 1140am. In 2001, WTRC (1340am, Elkhart) brought a new solid state Harris transmitter online at 7:15am.
June 20: In 2009, 91.9fm in Zionsville signs on as WITT. In 2014, WXKE (103.9fm, Fort Wayne) flips format from Rock ("Rock 104") to Soft AC as WWFW ("Soft Rock 103.9").
June 21: In 2004, WGCS (91.1fm, Goshen) drops their longtime classical format and flips format to Americana ("The Globe").
June 22: In 2016, WBKE (89.5fm, North Manchester) goes dark and (later) turns in their license to the FCC.
June 23: In 1975, former newspaper publisher and then-WIRE (1430am, Indianapolis) owner Eugene C. Pulliam dies. Age 86.
June 24: In 2011, WNUY (100.1fm, Bluffton) flips format from talk to religious, after an LMA begins between Independence Media and Bott Broadcasting. At Noon, WFCV-FM debuts.
