Monday morning wakeup: Emmis' N-T/WIBC (93.1fm, Indianapolis) staffers present a humorous video (...with a familiar television theme song). ProTip: Don't hold back. Go full screen on this one. "The Newsroom"

Dispatch Broadcasting's NBC affiliate WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis) files with the FCC to increase its power from 42.1 kW to 77 kW.

Where Are They Now? Former WISH-TV GM and Fort Wayne (WISE-TV) GM John Dawson will leave the GM chair at KSNW-TV in Wichita, Kansas.

Westcentral

Emmis Communications' W258BA (99.5fm, Marshall, Illinois) simulcasts their Sports/WFNF (1130am, Brazil). W258BA applies to move its city of license to Terre Haute, and move the transmitter site from just off IN-63 (south of Terre Haute) to a tower at Emmis' former location: 918 Ohio Street in downtown Terre Haute.

Southwest

At Nexstar ABC affiliate WEHT (Channel 25, Evansville) and Mission Broadcasting's CW affiliate WTVW (Channel 7, Evansville), meteorologist David Heckard and anchor Whitney Ray will both soon exit. Mr. Heckard joined WEHT in 2006 and will relocate to Fort Myers, Florida at the end of July and become a weekend meteorologist at WBBH-TV. Ms. Ray will exit TV broadcasting in early August.

WNIN Tri-State Public Media's NPR affiliate WNIN-FM (88.3fm, Evansville) drops "On Point" and adds "Here and Now". Also, "Fresh Air" moves to 11am, replacing "On Point". Finally, NPR Morning Edition local host Micah Schweizer exits and becomes the Cultural Affairs and Production Director at Wyoming Public Media in Laramie, Wyoming (KUWR-FM and its large network).

Indiana Community Radio Corporation's WBOO (90.3fm, Morganfield, Kentucky) applies to move its city of license to Rosiclare, Illinois, increase power from 1000 watts to 3500 watts, and move transmitter sites 30 miles west, from near U.S. 60 southwest of Morganfield to a different tower on Oak Road in the Shawnee National Forest. Don't forget that WBOO is in the middle of a $15,000 sale by Indiana Community Radio Corp. to the Real Life Radio Foundation.
