At the beginning of 2016, Adams Radio Group flipped their Classic Country/WJFX-HD2 (107.9fm, New Haven) also heard on translator W277AK (103.3fm, Fort Wayne) to a simulcast of what was then the talk format of WLYV (1450am, Fort Wayne). WLYV debuted their talk format in June 2014, when Adams Radio Group began their tenure in Fort Wayne. WLYV's talk format went away (it's now oldies), while "103.3 The Patriot" continued airing America in the Morning with John Trout, along with a steady diet of conservative talk (Hewitt, Gallagher, Savage, et al.)
At Midnight going into Wednesday morning, Adams flipped the format of "103.3 The Patriot" to active rock, as "103.3 The Fort Rocks Fort Wayne." The syndicated Billy Madison Show takes mornings, while the syndicated Mens Room takes nights. Both middays and afternoons are jockless for now. The first song on "103.3 The Fort" was Tool's 1996 release "Aenima."
Abby Jackson recently joined Heartland Media's FOX affiliate WFFT-TV (Channel 55, Fort Wayne) as a reporter. Ms. Jackson graduated from Ball State University earlier this year. While at Ball State, Ms. Jackson became involved with their NewsLink Indiana, and also interned at Dispatch Broadcast Group’s NBC affiliate/WTHR (Channel 13, Indianapolis).
