After two years, Jeff Moore ("Moorzy") exits as Production Director at Sarkes Tarzian's Hot AC/WAJI (95.1fm, Fort Wayne) and Classic Hits/WLDE (101.7fm, Fort Wayne).

Artistic Media Partners' CHR/WNDV (92.9fm, South Bend) recently made local and nationwide headlines
when their night jock Artimis posted a video, where he spoke with an unhappy listener about a certain song and its lyrics. The video (which you don't need a Facebook account to see, is
here.)
Let's take a break from our normal format, as we had the chance to ask Artimis a few questions:
What happened that lead up to this phone call and recording?
Caleb (our afternoon guy) received the first call from the angry listener. Then the listener called during my show and I decided to record the call as a video.
What has the reaction been, since the video went viral?
It's been insane! Over 12,000 Facebook "likes" for the video plus comments, and over 6,000+ shares. My page "likes" went up by 4,000 and I've gotten hundreds of wall posts, messages, and tweets.
What lessons can other DJs learn from how you handled this experience?
I handled it by not getting angry. It's all too easy to get mad when someone doesn't have the same opinion as you. I think staying cool is a better approach.
In terms of the feedback you've received, what's the best responses you've received?
The large amounts of responses I have received have all been positive. I can't exactly pin point one in particular because they've all been so great.
As a postscript, I talked with Artimis tonight and he said he had two more complaints about the song. Also, he told me that the above video will be shown in a session at the NAB Radio Show in Orlando this week.
