Correction: Adams Radio Group's Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville) does not add "The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver." IRW made this mistake based on a call letter typographical error from the syndicator who sent the press release.

Eastcentral

Radio 74 Internationale sells their translator W287CB (105.3fm, Cambridge City) for $32,000 to Lynn Martin's L.M. Communications. Mr. Martin will use the translator for one of his West Virginia radio stations. Broker for L.M. Communications is Lowell Homburger at Abernat, Roxben & Boggs.

Southcentral

Reising Radio Partners' Country/WYGB (100.3fm, Edinburgh) welcomes Scott Michaels for afternoons. Before joining "KORN Country," Mr. Michaels programmed and co-hosted mornings two miles up Washington Street at White River Broadcasting's Country/WKKG (101.5fm, Columbus).

Today in Indiana Radio History

In 1963, 1560am in Paoli signs on as WVAK (for Z. Denzel King Jr.'s spouse Virginia A. King). Today, it's WSEZ. In 1969, 100.1fm on Angola (now 100.3fm) signs on as WAFM. Today it's WLKI. In 1972, 1140am in Hawesville, Kentucky signs on as WKCM. It's still WKCM, but the allocation moved from 1140am to 1160am in the mid-1980s.

That's all for this issue. Thank you for your continued support.
