IRW tips its cap to Electronic Applications Radio Service, Inc. for filing an application on 88.1fm in Lahaina, Indiana.

(hint: It's in Hawaii, not Indiana.)

Northeast

Oasis Radio has closed on their $3.8 million purchase of Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville) and Classic Dance/WVBB (106.3fm, Columbia City). Michael J. Bergner of Bergner and Company was the exclusive broker in this transaction.

After fifteen months in mornings at Federated Media's Hot AC/WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne) the married morning duo of Craig Morrison and Samantha Adams exit the station.

After eight months at Oasis Radio's Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville), APD/MD/Night guy Adam Mayfield exits. Scott Roddy remains as Program Director, under GM Roger Diehm.

Where Are They Now (Part 1)? Former then-CHR/WDJB (106.3fm, Columbia City) PD/mornings Scott Thomas is now PD/afternoons at KXGE in Dubuque, Iowa.

Where Are They Now (Part 2)? Former Fort Wayne DJ (he was at several places) Zach Skyler is now Executive Producer for Greg Thunder and Melissa Moore at KSTF-FM in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Where Are They Now (Part 3)? AllAccess reports that former Rock/WBYR (98.9fm, Van Wert, Ohio) GM Joe Conway exits as Market Manager for the Cumulus stations in Fayetteville, Arkansas to "start a local business."

Mid-America Radio Group recently announced an $11.1 million dollar sale of several of its stations to Vox Communications. Included in the sale are Classic Hits/WXXC (106.9fm, Marion), Country/WCJC (99.3fm, Van Buren), Standards/WMRI (860am, Marion), Oldies/WBAT (1400am, Marion), AC/WZWZ (92.5fm, Kokomo), Talk-Sports/WIOU (1350am, Kokomo), and Classic Hits/WMYK (98.5fm, Peru).

Ron Davis exits middays at Talking Stick Communications' Country/WAWC (103.5fm, Syracuse) for sister Rhythmic CHR/WYPW (95.7fm, Nappanee) where he is now PD. Kris Underwood replaces Davis in middays.

Oldies/WIOE-LP (98.3fm, Warsaw) adds a new studio inside the Performing Arts Center at Warsaw High School, for various productions that air on WIOE-LP.

Henricks was formerly a weatherperson at Nexstar's NBC affiliate WTWO-TV (Channel 2/DT36, Terre Haute). Matt Luecking splits his weekends in radio between WBOW and Entercom's Hot AC/WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield).
