Station History
1270am signed on March 1956.
WORX(AM)
In February 1964, WORX changed from MBS (Mutual Broadcasting System) to CBS. MOR format. Owned as a division of Electronic Labs, Inc.
WXGO(AM)
WXGO simulcast the MOR format of WORX-FM (96.7fm). WXGO once broadcast The Mike Pence Show. In 2006, the FCC granted a CP which moved the city of license to Aurora, and moves their transmitter to just west of
Aurora on Lower Dillsboro Road. From there, WXGO will run 330 watts as a daytimer with six towers. Their signal will primarily be a narrow lobe over Cincinnati. We don't believe this CP was built.
