Station History
90.7fm signed on September 7, 1993, perhaps with a country music format. On January 10, 1994, WKPW began broadcasting 24 hours a day. On July 14, 1994, WKPW increased power to 4400 watts @ 180 feet. On May 25, 2008, WKPW changed
formats from Country to Classic Hits. Ownership transferred from Indiana Soldiers & Sailers Children's Home to New Castle Area Career Programs.
