After the sale to Marion Williams failed, the station went silent on May 6, 1999. Williams was operating the station under a time-brokerage agreement from 1997 - 1999 and decided not to buy the station since its debt load made the purchase price too high. Studios formerly located at 2019 Broadway, Gary, IN 46407-2605.
