Owned in the 1930s by Knox Radio Corp. with studios located in the Westcott Hotel, at the northeast corner of 10th and Main Streets in Richmond. Owned in the 1940s by Central Broadcasting Corp. with studios located at 25 S. Ninth St., Richmond, IN 47374. In March 2013, WKBV added an FM translator (W266CE), but the translator didn't sign on until August 11, 2014.
