Station History

96.9fm signed on March 1, 1993.

We don't believe they ever used the WMJC call letters on air.

Owned by Bomar Broadcasting Co. with studios at 3900 Edison Lakes Parkway, Suite 203, Mishawaka, IN 46545 (Telephone: 219.273.9690). Beautiful music/Easy Listening format.

On December 9, 1996, WHPZ switched format to Contemporary Christian. In December 1999, Bomar Broadcasting sold WHPZ to Lesea Broadcasting Corp. for $280,296.
