1500am signed on March 7, 1938 with 250 watts daytime and 100 watts at night. Moved to 1490am because of NARBA. Owned by Owensboro Broadcasting Co., Inc. Regent Communications, Inc. became Townsquare Media, Inc. in 2010. In early 2015, WOMI picked up an FM signal, in the form of translator W256CF.
