1110am signed on November 1, 1973. The FCC granted the license on September 11, 1973. Daytime only station.

Big Band format. Studios located at 830 Logan St., Noblesvile, IN. NBC affiliate.
WHYT(AM)
In 1976, Mid-Indiana Broadcasting Corp. proposed a $271,500 sale to Family Live Broadcasting System of Jackson, Michigan. Also in 1976, WHYT increased power
from 250 watts to 600 watts nondirectional. The station programmed Top 40 and MOR in the morning, and soul music in the afternoon. Now silent and deleted.
