WJKS was on the air in the 1930's, sharing time with WGES, Chicago, Illinois. In 1931, the Federal Radio Commission ordered WIBO and WPCC (both in Chicago), and granted full-time status to WJKS on 560am.
WJKS later changed call letters to WIND, and moved city of license to Chicago by the mid-1940's.
