Station History
91.7fm signed on November 1, 1971. WEEM's call letters stand for Ernest E. Miller, who was the first principal when Penleton Heights High School consolidated. Miller had the idea to start a radio station there.
Rod Brooks (Deceased 15 Febraury 2005) was the first voice heard. WEEM changed formats from Variety to Oldies in September 2002. In late 2004, WEEM changed formats again; from Oldies to AAA. In 2008, WEEM
became a CHR radio station.
