WAXT-FM

Adult Contemporary station. Studios located at 1106 Meridian Plaza, Suite 105, Anderson, IN 46016-1761. Owned by Clearwater Enterprises. Website was http://www.astralite.com/waxt. Known as "The Frog", WAXT was sold (along with WHBU) to Michael Schwartz's Indiana Radio Partners in November 1998 for an estimated $2 million.

WHTI-FM

After the sale, the station changed format to Hot AC and the calls changed in January 1999 to WHTI. WHTI simulcast WHTY. WHTI & WHTY flipped to classic rock in November 2000. Sabre Communications purchased all of the properties (WHTI, WHTY, html">WERK, WURK, and WHBU) from Michael Schwartz' Indiana Radio Partners in July 2001 for $8 million total. In Decmeber 2002, Backyard Broadcasting purchased WHTI along with all of its sister stations from Sabre Communications, Inc..

WMQX-FM

WHTI became WMQX in July 2009 (and simulcast WMXQ). Their website was http://www.maxrocks.net/. Backyard Broadcasting sold all of its Muncie radio stations in April 2013 for $4.45 million to Woof Boom Radio. WMQX dropped its classic rock format and became a country format ("96.7 Blake FM") on Saturday 31 May 2014 at 4:00PM. Upon that programming change, the WMQX studios moved from 9821 S. 800 W., Daleville, IN 47334 to 800 E. 29th Street, Muncie, IN 47302-5798.
