Station History

104.1fm signed on in October 1947.

WMUN-FM

WMUN-FM became WLBC-FM - we think - in 1971.

WLBC-FM

DRMS Communications sold WLBC-FM along with sister WXFN to Sabre Communications in January 1999 for $4 million for both stations. WLBC along with its sister stations were sold again to Backyard Broadcasting in December 2002. Backyard Broadcasting sold all of its Muncie radio stations in April 2013 for $4.45 million to Woof Boom Radio.
